Denim shirts can be hard to perfect. You don't want a denim that is too thick or too rugged as they will be hot and uncomfortable. You also don't want to go too flimsy as you'll miss out of the fun of breaking in a denim shirt and it'll lack the structure that a denim shirt needs. This Italian denim lands right in the middle: it's a medium/heavy weight shirting that still holds its shape and feels slightly tough. It's been stonewashed to break it in a bit and the texture is smooth to the touch.
